Who are we, anyways?

Together with my brother and my father I founded Marmelade Cat in 2018 with a clear vision of creating products that not only look good but minimise the stuff we carry around every day.

We have since built a small team and continue to serve thousands of customers with the protection they deserve.

Really disappointing!!

I was interested in purchasing a phone cover—and potentially even a MacBook cover—due to my positive experience with GotBag, the eco-friendly brand collaborating on these products. However, what I received was merely a plastic sticker (not even recycled!) with an additional piece cut from a damaged GotBag backpack. It offers zero protection for the phone and serves no real purpose, especially given the cost of €28.90 (€24.90 plus €5.21 for shipping). This feels both like a scam and a joke, seriously detracting from the credibility of the company’s mission. I am genuinely disappointed.

On top of that, they never responded to my emails asking for information about the product! Be cautious.

We are sorry that you are not satisfied with our GotBag skins.

The GotBag skins consist of a more sustainable bottom skin and a recycled top skin made from the backpacks. We know that unfortunately we cannot use completely recycled materials with our products, but we are trying to take another step in this direction with the GotBag skins. As we also state on the website, the skins are not fall protection, but primarily protect the iPhone from scratches and enhance it with a unique design. For optimum drop protection, for example, we have developed the Split-case, which you can combine with all skins.

The cost of shipping to Italy is €3.99. This is also stated in your invoice, only the taxes have the amount of 5,21€ but these are already included in the total price. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to Italy at a lower price.

We answered to all your messages and are still waiting for your answer to find a solution for this case.
